Theatre Arts Academy - Staff
The Kerikeri High School Theatre Arts Academy is under the direction of Ms Nicky Fenton, the Head of Drama. Nicky is a National and International Champion in Ballroom and Latin dance and has worked as a professional dancer. She taught dance in Auckland at the Kim Santarelli School of Dance and has choreographed several stage shows.

In 2008 Nicky assisted with direction of the school production of Much Ado about Nothing and produced "Te Hokinga Mai", Kerikeri High School's award winning entry in the Northland Stage Challenge competition. In 2009 she directed and choreographed the widely acclaimed school production of West Side Story.
Nicky is assisted by Mrs Bridget Crooks. Bridget trained as an actor in England then worked professionally in film, television and theatre in Europe and New Zealand. She has taught drama and dance for the past 15 years at Rosehill College, ACG Senior College and Mt Albert Grammar School in Auckland where she was Head of Drama and Dance. Bridget has a particular interest in the technical side of production especially theatre lighting.
