Welcome to Kerikeri High School.
As Board members, we have a strong desire to see all Kerikeri High School students achieve and thrive in their education. Using our combined skills and experience, we are committed to supporting the staff of Kerikeri High School to provide our children with the best education possible.
Our role as Board members is to provide governance support to our Principal and to set the strategic direction for the school to ensure continual growth and outstanding achievement. In addition, the Board is committed to our ongoing partnership with Ngāti Rēhia, who provide leadership and support to our school, ensuring an enriched cultural experience and equitable outcomes for all our ākonga/learners.
The Board consists of six elected Parent Trustees, a Ngāti Rēhia Trustee, the Principal, a Staff Trustee, and a Student Trustee. The Parent Trustees and the Staff Trustee are elected on a three yearly cycle. The Student Trustee is elected by Year 9 -13 students annually.
Full Board meetings are held twice a term in the School's Boardroom at 5.30pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
