Kerikeri High School is a Year 7 to 13, state secondary school in the beautiful Bay of Islands. We have a school roll of over 1650 students, 33% of whom identify as Māori. We are a destination school for International students from around the world who come to enjoy our warm and caring school, the temperate climate and the wide range of outdoor activities our school and community have to offer.

Our mission is to provide a learning environment that develops all students to the greatest possible extent, so enabling them as responsible citizens to take full advantage of life's opportunities. We are committed to providing excellence in education, recognising the individual needs of students and fostering pride among our students and the community.

The Education Review Office is a government agency that regularly audits and reports on the quality of education in every New Zealand school. We are currently working with ERO and their new Te Ara Huarau process. This new process involves us working with ERO to set and monitor goals over three years and is a longer-term collaboration than the previous model.
