Kerikeri High School Girls Football Team Receive Fair Play Award
The Kerikeri High School Girls Football Team travelled to Auckland for Tournament Week, where they competed in the Kathy Seaward Girls Football Competition. They played against some strong teams in a highly competitive tournament, finishing 16th out of 24 teams. Throughout the tournament, officials and opposition teams consistently praised the players for their mana, respect, and outstanding sportsmanship. Their positive approach was recognised at the tournament's conclusion when the team was named First Equal in the Fair Play Award, achieving a perfect 40/40 from both teams and umpires.
Congratulations to Eva van Schaik (Year 10) who was named Kerikeri High School's Player of the Tournament.
