Kerikeri High School Year 9 Camp
Led by Mr Jimmy Thomas, and Year 9 Dean Mrs Roz Clent, the Year 9 camps were held at Marsden Point Christian Camp, with students participating in a range of fun and challenging activities.
The camp aims are to:
- promote whakawhanaungatanga - building meaningful relationships
- encourage manaakitanga - showing care, respect, and hospitality
- strengthen whakawhirinaki - trust and reliance within teams
- develop kotahitanga - unity and collaboration
- support students to be māia - confident and comfortable with challenge and discomfort
These camps are a valubale opportunity for ākonga to grow personally and socially, laying a strong foundation for their journey at Kerikeri High School.
