MUNA

The two-day Rotary Model United Nations event was held at Rosmini College in Auckland, bringing together 300 Year 12 and 13 students from secondary schools across Northland and Auckland. Each team of students represented a United Nations member country, adopting its views and perspectives on current global issues.

Participants engaged in bloc meetings to discuss regional priorities, delivered speeches on remits addressing contemporary challenges, voted on proposals, and lobbied for support.

Our students were outstanding representatives of their assigned countries, demonstrating professionalism, positivity, and a great sense of humour, and making Kerikeri High School proud.

The students representing Somalia were Year 12 students Pippa Sager, Isaac Sharp and Jayde Wakeford. Representing Guatemala were Year 12 students Ikaroa Armstrong Kingi, Alex Gates and Kate Graham.
