The Taniwha and Ranfurly Shield Welcomed to Kerikeri High School
The Taniwha and the Ranfurly Shield were welcomed with pōwhiri to Kerikeri High School, where students and staff gathered to celebrate the team and their historic win.
Among the Taniwha players were ex-Kerikeri High School students Sam Nock, and Rob and Brady Rush who carried the shield into school. After the pōwhiri, team members met students and signed autographs for their many fans.
